Eligibility for B.Tech Lateral Entry (Second Year)

If anyone is planning to go for B.Tech LE (Lateral Entry) then you must have successfully completed a 3 year diploma in engineering. A candidate must have scored atleast 50% aggregate in 3-year diploma. Most of the students do diploma after class 10th. Although, students who have completed diploma after 12th also is also eligible for B.tech lateral entry.

Usually, LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test) takes place to get direct entry into second year that is lateral entry. AICTE has considered Btech lateral entry equivalent to the regular one. There is no difference as such between both.
