Programme Features

The main features of the programme:

  • The programme [b tech electronics and communication lateral entry] is of six semesters with classes in evening, weekends and holidays (during the day time). Practicals are held each Saturday.
  • Students can access learning material in various formats: text, video lectures and audio anytime from everywhere through a Learning Management System.
  • Student’s performance is assessed continuously throughout the semester by quiz, assignments, mid-semester and end-semester exams. The assessment results are shared with the students to improve their performance.
  • Student’s learn to build up the technical skills to enhance their professional value.
  • The learning from the program will help the students to develop and implement innovative technological solutions.
  • Provide necessary conceptual foundation, and appropriate understanding of real-world applications.

Outcomes of the program

Students will be able to analyze specific engineering problems relevant to Electronics & Communication Engineering by applying the knowledge of basic sciences, engineering mathematics and engineering fundamentals.

Ability to develop design and commission electronics and communication systems and apply modern software tools.

Students will be able to develop necessary soft skills, aptitude and technical base to work in an existing electronics engineering industry or establish an entrepreneurial startup.

  • Final semester students will carry out a semester-long intensive project work applying the various concepts acquired in classrooms and labs under the guidance of mentor and supervisor.

Working professionals should have passed Diploma in Engineering in relevant disciplines with at least 50% aggregate marks.
