What is B Tech Distance Education?- Bachelor of Technology (B.tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE ) Distance/Part-time is a course that enables students to acquire professional skills in the field of engineering and work or innovate in the field of Science and Technology. B.TECH/B.E. DISTANCE IS NOT ALLOWED AS PER AICTE. Although, AICTE has come up with an option called B.tech for working professional. This is beneficial to working professionals especially as they do not have the time to pursue the regular on-campus course.There are several universities and institutions that offer B Tech degree course through correspondence. B.Tech in distance education is not valid as per UGC-AICTE. Although, AICTE has approved B.tech for working professional which is also known as Btech evening. This course is equivalent to the regular and classes are held in the evening or weekend. Even a Learning management system is provided where E-book and recorded lectures are there.

⭐I have completed a Diploma Course in the engineering stream after completing 12. Can I enroll for the distance BE/BTech program?

Yes, you are eligible for the B.Tech Evening/working professional Program. As a candidate have a diploma, he would be eligible for a lateral entry that is course duration would be of 3 years.

LMS (Learning Management System) is provided in which a student can access 24*7. At least students must spend 5-6 hours per week to pass with flying colors.
